Record deal, to sign or not to sign?

Options, options, options.

These days, there are an unprecedented number of options that would-be musicians and future rockstars have to carve their career. Once upon a time, there was one single goal… GET A RECORD DEAL!

That was the most direct route in giving yourself the opportunity to make it successful in the record business. Please note, the key word is OPPORTUNITY.

What traditional labels do very well are primarily to fund the project and use their established links with radio and tv networks to mass market the shit out of your music in aims of making bank.

These days, you have options. There’s tools and services that allows you to do-it-yourself. But if you think being successful and making bank is as easy as screwing your lightbulb, then think again.
