SIXX debuted “Supersonic” officially 1st February 2012, on Fréquence K 103.4 FM in Côte d’Azur, France.
Following this, SIXX will hold a Singapore launch of the single inconjunction with TweetJams, a Social Media Week event organized by AKA Asia on Thursday, 16th February 2012 at Lucky 13. Lucky 13 is located on the ground level of Triple One Somerset.

Tweet Jams will also see audiovisual collective Syndicate creating new visuals for SIXX, blending in graphical elements from Supersonic single art with a high dose of the Syndicate mind-bending aesthetics. In true Syndicate style, DJ Darren Dubwise and DJ Koflow will also be providing the latest musical gems in the world of hip hop beats and funky basslines.
Punters can also look forward to a collection of exclusive silkscreen designs which they can personally select the combination & placement of the artwork, each graphic solely limited to the event by HIT+RUN.
“Supersonic” was rated 4 out of 5 stars by Singapore music writer Christopher Toh, in Today’s daily publication.
The special preview of “Supersonic” made at MIDEM off festival, in Cannes, France over the weekend was well received by industry professionals and press alike, as reported in New Music Box, a publication from New York and Straits Times, a Singapore Press Holdings publication.
The single has been made available to public for play and purchase at the SIXX official website, http://www.wearesixx.com and on their facebook. The song will also be available on major online stores like iTunes and AmazonMP3 in the following days. The single features 2 songs, “Supersonic” and b-side “What If It’s You“.
“Supersonic” is the first single from the 9-piece band as part of their quarterly season campaign. Fans get to expect fresh new releases from the band every quarter. Each season, original designs will be created, inspired by the music singles.
Season 1, “Supersonic” feature the creative designs of Eric Foenander and Kristal Melson, acclaimed Singapore graphic artists and illustrators. The designs have been extended into a full suite of merchandize, including T-Shirts, Wallets, Posters, iPhone skins and hard cases, and stickers.
